The ‘Silent Mandali Experience’ is a unique opportunity to take a break from the daily demands and stimulations of life, cultivating a space of deep inner peace and stillness. Guided by our skilled and inspiring team of teachers - this programme encourages you to find your own natural rhythm and discover the joy of simply being, reconnecting with your inner world and to nature.
During this retreat at all meals and time in between classes, we respect social silence. Teachers speak during classes, and both teachers and staff are always available in case a participant requires assistance or needs to communicate. We also offer Q&A in some group sessions, and the first and last meal of the retreat are not in silence.
Lovingly curated for everybody, this programme offers the following:
- Twice daily, guided meditations
- Twice daily, Yoga and/or Qi-Gong*
- Periods of silence
- Nature walks
- Open themed sessions curated by our teachers
- Access to the nourishing Body Care Centre (pool, jacuzzi, sauna, & steam room)
- Delicious, freshly prepared vegetarian meals
*Qigong is only offered when explicitly stated on the schedule which is given on arrival
On arrival, you will be welcomed as a group to get to know the participants & teachers, learn about the programme, as well as information about Mandali’s stunning surroundings. You may also plan for a gentle walk by visiting the front desk, to learn about trails and points of interest in the area. From there, it’s up to you to design the experience that will best serve you, by participating in as much or as little of the programme as you wish.
This precious time for yourself invites you to find and follow your own pace throughout the retreat. Wake up to join an early morning class, or choose to sleep in and enjoy a quiet leisurely breakfast. Take a dip in the hot tub overlooking the lake, relax in the comfort of your cosy room, meditate on your veranda, or enjoy a walk in our beautiful grounds. This is your time.
